Mattapan Square Farmers Market

The Mattapan Square Farmers Market is a project of the Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition. Located in the Church of the Holy Spirit parking lot, at the market shoppers can find a wide variety of fresh, affordable, organic fruits and vegetables from local farms, and fresh seafood. Farmers at the market accept EBT/SNAP (Food Stamps), WIC, and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Coupons.

Hyde Park Farmers Market

The Hyde Park Farmers’ Market is a project of Hyde Park Main Streets.  The Market offers a range of seasonal produce from Massachusetts Farms, along with bread, baked goods, potted and hanging plants and local crafts.  The market also offers a CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) program from Potager Farm, located in Groton, MA.   Celebrating the artistic talents of Hyde Park residents, the market features weekly musical entertainment and school-based youth ensembles. Activities for children and artist demonstrations also take place at the market throughout the season.

Roslindale Farmers Market

The Roslindale Farmers Market is a project of Roslindale Village Main Street;  a community-driven and governed volunteer organization.  RVMS includes Roslindale residents, business owners, and property owners with a common stake in supporting a vibrant and healthy neighborhood business district. The market is held in Adams Park, Roslindale’s picturesque village green and features an average of twenty-five vendors weekly, selling a range of fresh produce, fruit, meat, honey, cheese, preserves, local baked goods and handcrafted items.  With live acoustic music and kids’ activities every week, the Roslindale Farmers’ Market offers a vibrant community gathering spot throughout the summer.

West Roxbury’s Corey Street Farmers Market

A new location and a greatly expanded list of almost 20 vendors and wide variety of products: 7 New England farms bringing fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, meat, and dairy and more; Cape Cod fishing families bringing fish and seafood that’s out-of-this-world fresh; and specialty items such as baked goods, jam, honey, artisan cheese, fruit vinegar and other delicious, healthy and locally-made products. Weekly CSA shares of produce, meat and fish for pickup during market hours. Also new in 2014, SNAP clients can use their EBT cards and get up to a $10 discount on purchases.

More than just a farmers market, West Roxbury’s Corey Street Farmers Market is a weekly event with live entertainment, demonstrations, food trucks, and fun activities for all ages — from face painting to chair massages!  Brought to you by Temple Hillel B’nai Torah, in partnership with the Theodore Parker Unitarian Universalist Church, and West Roxbury Main Streets.
